| Abstract： | System biology is an exciting and challenging topic in applied mathematics. In the talk a very brief introduction on system biology is presented, including an example (the Hodgkin-Huxley model, Nobel prize) to illustrate the system biology approach. Some up-to-date and successful applications are covered as well.
