Q-curvature in conformal geometry was found by Branson in his study of the functional determinant of conformally covariant differential operators. Later, it was discovered by Graham and Zworski that Branson's Q-curvature can alternatively characterized in terms of the scattering matrix of asymptotically hyperbolic Einstein metrics. By bringing this idea into the complex setting, we can define the Q-curvature of partially integrable CR manifolds. I will discuss the behavior of the total integral of the CR Q-curvature under deformation of partially integrable CR structure.
